Role Profile

Purpose 

Guarantee the full availability of goods In the Warehouse by transporting merchandise between warehouse and Stores. Perform and array of functions that may Include receiving and processing Incoming stock and other kinds of “materials” 

Key Accountabilities

Main tasks

• Receive, store and issue sales the floor merchandise in the different warehouses and make sure the cargo arrives in the best conditions and quantities 
• Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.
• Inform to the Warehouse Supervisor/Planner in case there is any damage in the goods.
• Perform required actions by Warehouse Supervisor in case there are damages.
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange merchandise, following the FIFO rules
• Control that all open transfers must be closed
• Shipping, receiving and unloading of trucks/container and checking of merchandise
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders.
• Maintains inventory control & must work overtime when is necessary for the company
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area in work stations neat, sweep, dust and mop. Wear the proper safety equipment.
• Transport all the products, articles to the request destination.
• Maintain  the company vehicles in proper condition
• Transfer, release and receiving processes
• Control and prevent of damages
• Periodically  take physical count (Cycle inventories) of stock or check merchandise.

Personal profile

Experience

Required: Experience in logistics/warehouse environment and comply with all safety, hazardous material, rules, and reporting; ensuring  a safe work environment.

Specific requirements

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Able to reach overhead,bend, squat, kneel and carry
• Must be proficient in computer (Excel)

Languages

Fluent in Papiamento & English – written and spoken; other languages would be an asset.
