OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Country Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for a candidate with a strong background in both traditional and digital marketing, preferably with experience in the retail industry. The successful candidate will report directly to the Commercial Manager for Aruba, Bonaire & Bahamas and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating key marketing projects within these Islands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and target market in Aruba, Bonaire & Bahamas.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends in the travel retail industry.
• Collaborate with the global marketing teams to adapt global campaigns to the local market, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
• Manage all aspects of local marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, events, and sponsorships.
• Create compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, operations, and finance, to ensure cohesive and successful marketing campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as airport authorities, tourism boards, and local influencers.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the retail industry or travel sector.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics.
• Proficiency in third party tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Fluency in English
