Administrative Officer – Group Pensions
As an Administrative Officer f you are responsible for executing administrative activities, such as those related to the policy or claims administration and answering customer questions related to the assigned administrations, in line with (departmental) guidelines, procedures and work instructions, in such a way that the data is correctly administered, policies are timely available and internal and external questions and problems are solved and internal colleagues are optimally supported in their jobs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support in the creation, preparation and review of group pension customers contracts;
- Ensure the organization’s internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
- Keep track of contracts and take necessary actions to extend, renew, or terminate in line with protocols.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met
- Handle and answer standard internal and external customer questions (face-to-face, e-mail and/or telephone), in line with protocols
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
- Troubleshoot contract-related issues, monitor progress and takes actions if/where necessary;
- Scan and/or maintain/upload files and information in a way that allows ease of retrieval of information and files
- Prepare standard reports from information in the assigned administrations, according to stated schedules or upon request and in line with formats
- Validate and process premiums and policy mutations as a preparation for payments and/or validate and prepare claim payments, in collaboration with other departments.
Education and competencies
- Associate degree in related field required;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field;
- Knowledgeable of collective pensions and life insurance is an requirement.
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management and organizational skills;
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal (English, Dutch and Papiamento);
- Proficient computer knowledge, including all aspects of MS Office.
