The minimum requirements needed for this position are:
- Required experience in Airport DF Retail business, and Airports customer services: 10y
- Knowledge of the retail or consumer goods industry
- Graduate in: Finance or Accounting or Administration or Commercial Management.
- Minimum MBA grade of studies
- Knowledge and proved experience in: Finance, Airport Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain positions
- Fluent in English
Key Accountabilities for the position:
Operations
- Responsible for general company operation under the internal and external procedures
- Ensure correct and complete implementation of commercial plan for the companies under his/her scope
- Adding value and knowhow to the execution of the operating model and adapting the organization to local needs
- Determine the correct sales strategy for the leading Country
- Define ALL commercial criteria to be applied in the shops (Lay out, Pricing, Promotions, Category selection) in coordination with Marketing and Category Management
- Ensure that decisions and recommendations from the leading country are applied in shops
- Visit point of sales
- Ensure that shops are run in accordance with legal rules and technical specifications as safety regulations
- Follow sales evolutions and analyze figures to preparer weekly and monthly activity reports
- Ensure correct levels of inventories
- Ensure the fluid logistics organization and delivery to shops
- Ensure the coordination with ALL locals authorities including airport, local customs, US Customs, a.o.
People
- Ensure that there is a positive and good work ethos in all shops. Identify and implement necessary trainings withing the shops
- Review staff performance and track FTE by department
Finance
- Analyze and take decisions, in the monthly KPIs, income statement and balance sheet, and control exchange rates
- Participate in the determination of the investment and development plan for the Country(is)
